Scrapbook Retreat 2010 Anyone????

I am so excited to announce Scrapbook Designs' 2nd annual Scrapbook Retreat. We are heading to Mission Inn Resort and Club located in Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida. This beautiful resort is located in Central Florida (northwest of Orlando, Florida). Come join me in the spectacular rolling country side blessed with natural beauty for 4 filled scrapbooking days full of fun, laughter, and a great deal of scrapbooking ideas. We will begin our Scrapbooking Retreat on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 12pm in the afternoon. Gotta say, I am really loving the tranquility and serene surroundings. Great views to let the mojo flow!!!!!

All participants will receive a 6 ft. table for the weekend, where they can set up and scrapbook at their leisure during the weekend.

The retreat ends on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 12:00pm.

Busy, busy, busy....

I have begun my year with a day full of helping some of my lovely friends. Gotta tell you, today, I earned enough points in my friendship column for at least several months worth...lol...

I am lllllllllllllllllllllllllloving this LO by the very talented Juliana from Utah. Isn't this a great LO? Look at all those flowers..DELISH!

The creative juices are flowing, and this is making me very happy. Although is is so cold here!!!

Like really, my goodness...it is sooooooooo cold here. I know, for those of you who live outside of sunny south Florida, you REALLY know what cold is, but this warm blooded Puertorican is not liking this cold weather in my end of town....I don't care what any of you say...nothing like hot weather and the a/c on a comfortable 75. Yup. my blood has thinned out. (although, it is keeping me busy indoors creating some yuminess...so I can't complain too much...he,hee.hee.

What a lovely day...

Spent the day with these lovely ladies. I had so much fun. They are such a fantastic group of gals.
This is Ms. Barbara. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish you lots of joy, health and the will to achieve your goal for this year!!!!! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT...You are amazing.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!

Welcome, welcome 2010!!!!!!!!!!!

WOwsa....2010. Can you believe it? I can sincerely say, that I am so grateful for another year and looking forward to beginning with a new clean slate. I love the new year. It makes me realize that I have 12 NEW months of beginnings, experiencing creating or simply fixing.

2009 was a bit more difficult than I expected....emotionally, spiritually, financially and artistically. It is very difficult to create when your mind is simply on other pertinent matters. With that being said, I am continuously amazed at how I can shut everything out when the creative wave rolls in. When that creative spirit takes over, I lose time frames. I lose myself in the process of completing a project. The joy and peace that results in that process is surely one of the most valued in my life. I believe it's something that everyone has...it simply manifest itself in different areas in each and everyone one of us. Creating something or simply enjoying the works of another and making it your own is phenomenal. It makes me happy. It makes me a better wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend. I am looking forward to a new year full of promise.

I have several projects in the works. Beginning with an all day teaching workshop set up for January 30, 2010. I will be teaching 3 new projects. (these will be posted on Monday). FYI...a new 10 page class is definitely in the mix. 3 new events will be implemented this year to my roster and of course the annual scrapbook retreat is in the works. I wonder what surprises will enable me to learn something new.

I am anxiously anticipating the new experiences 2010 has in store for me. I relish the fact that I am healthy and have wonderful family unit that supports and loves me unconditionally.

I wish every single one of you a fantastic new year full of health, love, joy and wisdom. May 2010 bring you artistic freedom where you can grow, learn and reach new heights. Enjoy the daily, for in it you will find the creative spirit that dwells within all of us.
